Our Wedding Day

Little man getting dressed....thanks Donna for all your help!!
Joan, Famous, Mandy, Kay and Jibari
Tom, Famous, James, Mandy, Jaime, Mary

Here are just a few shots from my camera (thanks Connie!) from the wedding. What a beautiful day it was. We are so thankful for all our family and friends who could attend. We hope everyone had a good time and enjoyed themselves....we certainly did. A huge thank you to Mom and Dad....it was a beautiful day and we are so appreciative of everything you did. As much as I loved the day, I am so very happy it is October 19 and things can slowly get back to normal around here....can you believe it is only one month til Thanksgiving and two months to Christmas....I haven't even thought about either yet!! I am behind already!

Everyone who has sent pictures, thank you and keep them coming....I love seeing the different shots that everyone got! I will keep adding as I get them...

6 month pictures

One I ordered of Mr Gavin too....I think his 4 month...

Forgot to post Chase's 6 month pictures....just a little late!! Next round comes in November....these were taken in late August...

My daddy rocks!

Mr Man is 34 weeks old now....just shy of 8 months, which he will celebrate on our wedding day!

This past weekend, Famous and I went to the Mizzou game. The MDA does a Day at the Game for the dentist members and the past two years, I have been in charge of putting it on. We get a large group of tickets and provide a catered meal and drinks beforehand. It is always a lot of fun and we have gone each year since I started the MDA. Chase stayed with Grandma & Grandpa Stokes and went to a family birthday party. From what I hear, he was THE entertainment! My uncle and aunt, Jim (godfather too) and Connie from Alaska are down for the wedding and staying with Mom and Dad all week. It is great to see them, cause they haven't been down here for a while.

Chase still is not crawling (at least not in the typical way)...he can do everything but get his arms moving....but he can certainly get where he wants and fast. When he gets going, it is almost like he is doing the "centipede". He has been trying lots of foods lately and as long as we can keep food in front of him, we can actually eat at the same time! He has had buttered toast, pork n beans (not too many!!), smashed potatoes and I am sure some other things I don't know about too!!

Looking forward to Saturday and getting to see everyone...pray for sunny skies!!

Roots, blues and BBQ

Rare pic of James and Jaime!

Saturday, we went with James and Jaime to Columbia to the Roots, Blues & BBQ festival. It was fun with good food and good music. Chase had a fun day watching everything going on and being passed back and forth between the four of us. We went to Olive Garden for dinner and Chase sat in a big boy highchair at the restaurant and did really good....except he wanted to eat the menus instead of playing with toys. Of course, he had to eat what we were eating, so he got the insides of the breadsticks and some plain pasta. He must of really liked it because he let out two big burps--like grown person burps--that got the whole section laughing at him!!

He is getting two more teeth on top...poor guy doesn't get a minutes relief from this teething thing. One has broke through and the other is almost there. He enjoyed his first cheerios yesterday too. Oh and almost forgot, he is waving bye-bye now....it is too cute. We taped it...so I will post that soon too!

Better late than never..

A little late this week....bad mom that I am, I didn't take any pictures this past week and grandma took some but I haven't got them yet from her. I took a few this morning in his cute little outfit...I am so glad fall is here and I can dress him in something new...he looks so dang cute in long sleeves and long pants...just like a little man. Last week, he had some firsts...he is holding his bottle now like pro and he has a death grip on it!! Doesn't want to let go of it. He is also just about crawling...he has his back legs going now and can lunge himself forward or do the army crawl thing to get to whatever he wants....I would guess he would be moving around next week...time to find some gates. This will be an expensive week, as we are getting new carseats too, cause he is about at his 22lb limit!!

I had a bridal shower on Saturday....thank you to Donna, Debbie, Chris and Beth for a beautiful shower....you all always put on a wonderful spread. We got some great gifts too and I actually have them out of the bags and 1/2 way put away too...quite an accomplishment these days!! Two and 1/2 weeks and counting.....we are getting down to the nitty gritty and tying up lots of loose ends for the wedding. Can't wait!
